From Rick & Mary

"Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together." Ps 34:3

This is day 2 @ "Select" in St. Joseph's and Isabel handled the transfer well with a couple of bumps along the way, currently she is settling in.  Isabel seems to be resting a lot, but impatiently, we want her to be awake and active.  It is hard waiting... yet we seek God's timing.  She is opening her eyes periodically and continues to move both of her legs (and left arm slightly).

Their plan to wean her from the ventilator is to have Isabel off the ventilator for 16 hours each day and then on for 8 (overnight).  She is in a special chair during the day.

The care has been great and the Lord continues to show us this was the correct place to be.

Prayers:
  • Isabel will begin waking up and respond to external stimuli.
  • She would progress in being weaned from the ventilator.
