Watch this video of Isabel working with her papa and mama and a marker just this morning! ABSOLUTELY, WITHOUT A DOUBT, AN ANSWER TO PRAYER! This is the first time since "The Event" that she has so demonstrably and intentionally moved her hand. These are tiny first steps, certainly, but she is demonstrating that the connections are still there. Her work over the next months will be to remaster those connections, which will undoubtedly require lots of time, patience and practice, but this is a crucial piece of evidence to know that she has the raw materials to work with! As one of her doctors said this morning, "..the young brain is amazing! She will be able to relearn!"
We know God controls the timing. He is the mastermind! We continue to Praise Him and watch His amazing work!
We praise Thee, O God, for the Son of Thy love,
For Jesus who died and is now gone above!
Hallelujah! Thine the glory, Hallelujah! Amen.
Hallelujah! Thine the glory; revive us again.
We praise Thee, O God, for Thy Spirit of light
Who has shown us our Savior and scattered our night!
Hallelujah! Thine the glory, Hallelujah! Amen.
Hallelujah! Thine the glory; revive us again.
All glory and praise to the Lamb that was slain,
Who has borne all our sins and hath cleansed ev'ry stain,
Hallelujah! Thine the glory, Hallelujah! Amen.
Hallelujah! Thine the glory; revive us again.
Revive us again; fill each heart with Thy love;
May each soul be rekindled with fire from above.
Hallelujah! Thine the glory, Hallelujah! Amen.
Hallelujah! Thine the glory; revive us again.
I can't watch it now, video is firewalled at work. But the blog is not firewalled (yay) and it thrills my heart to read this news. I will watch the video as soon as I get home, and wait with even greater anticipation until I can be with her next.

ReplyDelete"Morning by morning new mercies we see!"
ReplyDeletePraising God for this morning of mercies seen in the smallest of actions and greatest of victories.
Wimmer Browns, you ALL are amazing! My personal list of "heroes of the faith" now has 9 new entries under the "W" heading. Each of you are an inspiration to my life and faith. Thank you for letting the Spirit work through you on our behalf as you walk this road.
With love, admiration and anticipation of tomorrow's mercies...

That is AMAZING! Praise God from whom all mercies flow! (as are my eyes... at the moment ;)
ReplyDeleteYay, Isabel!
so sweet are His mercies! I was just there and left a 9am that morning and her hands were not responding to my touch, at all. So, so sweet are His mercies. Isabel will draw again, and because of this, she will recuperate faster! Nancy Hughes
