Today has been peaceful with close monitoring of her respiratory activity, oxygen level has been reduced to 50%. Oxygen saturation is 100%. Good news!
The paralytic was removed for a few hours this morning however had to be reinstated for Isabel's breathing was labored.
Isabel's temperature is normal, blood sugar is good and blood pressure is up. Good news!
The neurosurgeon came to see her today and said there has been no change since yesterday and he will see her tomorrow.
Shannon, her nurse, said, "Isabel looks like a lovely porcelain angel." We've concluded she is the most beautiful patient on the floor!
Thank you all for your diligent prayer and care for us.
For prayer:
- Please continue to pray for Isabel's complete healing.
- Please pray for one another as we continue in the prayerful work of waiting on the Lord.
- Give thanks for His many tender mercies.
The "vent" in Isabel's skull is nothing short of astonishing.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone reading this is going to visit Isabel soon, I challenge you to do the following.... ask one of the nurses to explain to you how it works.
And then, ponder it in your mind for a mere five minutes and try not be amazed at the intricate detail of loving care the one true God in heaven is giving to his daughter Isabel through her medical team at St. Clares.
It had an impact on me..... I'm still saying "Wow. What kind of love is this, Lord?" A big kind, I think. Bigger than I can get my mind around.
Love you, Wimmer-Browns.
