We give thanks:
- The hematologists have signed off-her blood is fine.
- Isabel no longer needs blood pressure medication.
- The paralytic has been removed and she is doing well without it-The laborious breathing, that was believed to be related to her respiratory issues, ceased when the paralytic was removed.
- Blood pressure, oxygenation and breathing remain stable.
- The swelling has subsided and Isabel looks like herself.
- Isabel has excellent medical care. The nurses are amazing!
- Dr. Levy (the neurosurgeon) reported we are watching and waiting and each day is a little victory. He will be in later today to give us an update.
Please pray:
- Isabel remains in critical condition: in a coma, on a respirator and heavily sedated.
- Today they will remove the central line (from which medications are administered internally) and replace it with a PICC-peripherally inserted central catheter. This has less possibility of infection.
- Isabel's inner-cranial pressure would stabilize.
We are grateful for the body of Christ standing with us as we walk through this valley.
Dear Rick and Mary, Just letting you know that we love you and are continuing to pray for you all and for Isabel. We think of you all day long and lift you each up in prayer. Love, Kathleen
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I and our kids are all continuing to pray for Isabel and your family every day. I'm praying for God's power to be shown in her complete healing, and that He will receive glory through her healing and through your family's strength and peace in the midst of all that is happening. The updates sound very encouraging, and I praise God with each encouraging update.
