Saturday - We experienced two miracles: 1) The kids and I watched a Monarch butterfly emerge out of her chrysalis and 2) Isabel emerged out of the hospital for an outting with her family. Both were amazing and beautiful to watch. Isabel wanted to go antique browsing and we had lunch out (we brought Isabel's food with us).
Sunday - Isabel had a full day of rehab therapy and did well (a little sleepy during OT but wide awake for PT). She continues to work hard.
Monday - No therapy today. We took Isabel out on another outting with the family. We found a quiet area in Forest Park for a picnic and enjoyed the beautiful day the Lord provided us. Isabel prayed the Lord's prayer before bed with Mary and me.
Tuesday - Therapy begins again. The speech therapist wants to have another swallow test done either tomorrow or Thursday.
Prayers:
- Isabel's alertness and cognitive recall
- Isabel's legs are painful to the touch, pray for healing
- Isabel would continue in her postive attitude and her hard work in therapy
- For a good night's rest and sleep
- She would pass the next swallow test
- Isabel will know of God's great love and care for her and call on His strength for her own.
