Isabel is now at St. Mary's Rehab

As of 6:00PM this evening, Isabel is safely ensconced at St. Mary's Rehab Hospital, 6420 Clayton Road.  The move went very well and she was bright and alert after the trip.

Vigilists, take note.  Rick and Mary are assessing what kind of support will best assist them in the new quarters; the fact that they can now see their house from the rehab patio on the 6th floor opens up all sorts of possibilities that haven't been available (like going home for a nap or a bite to eat or swinging by to or from work in Clayton or over lunch hour).  Unless you hear otherwise, assume for now that you're still "on," but be ready for adjustments as Rick and Mary get things figured out.

We pray for God's continued protection and guidance in her recovery via the restorative therapies she will receive there!

  1. It was great to meet you and your family today, Isabel! It is all too often I see negativity in my line of work, so it was refreshing to see that you've made truly miraculous progress on your road to healing. I'm so glad that I got to be a part (albeit a small part) of your journey to health. I'll be checking up on you occasionally, and I hope that you can come visit us soon. Stay strong, and may God bless you on your quest for recovery!
