Thursday: By God's tender mercies, Isabel continues to meet and/or exceed the therapist's activities and expectations. They are exposing her to a lot of different tasks and exercises all of which we take for granted (e.g. rolling back on forth laying down, raising her legs; writing her name; pulling off and putting on socks; rubbing lotion on her own arms; batting a balloon; repeating words like: coke, ancient, oboe, got...etc.) Even with all of this, these are just tiny steps towards full recovery, but this is great progress.
I admit I am impatient. But I wait upon the Lord for His timing and will to be done, not mine.
Friday:
- Isabel passed the swallowing test...so she can eat real food! Yeah! It does need to be pureed though.
- Working with Isabel, Lisa (her physical therapist) said: "Isabel, you are inspirational!"
- Isabel continues to do her best and works really hard.
Prayers:
- Isabel would get the rest & sleep she needs each night.
- She would be alert for her therapy sessions.
- She would develop an appetite.
