In His hands as we wait and hope:
- Isabel continues to be stable. She is off the restricted "low stimulus" environment, we are stimulating all her senses thru moving her limbs and talking or singing to her, offering her smells and tastes accompanied by much talking about them, etc.
- The CT scan showed spaces with fluid thus the need for the shunt.
- The neurosurgeon's plan is to implant the shunt tomorrow @ 3:30 pm and we are looking to moving her to a LTAC (long term acute care) facility the first part of next week
- Isabel is opening her eyes more often but is still in a coma.
Prayers:
- The surgery for the shunt goes well
- Discernment in selecting the best LTAC facility for Isabel
- We will "...know that You can do all things, and that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained or thwarted." Job 42:2
