Isabel had a peaceful night, may God be praised!
Today's work is to gradually reduce the oxygen level to that which she had 2 days ago (or better) with the plan of gradually removing the paralytic.
The swelling continues to decrease.
She is receiving more sugars to regulate her blood sugar level ("...just a spoonful of sugar...")
She is being fed a very small amount of food through a G.I. tube (this is a good thing).
She also receives range of motion therapy for her limbs.
So far this morning she is tolerating the change in her ventilation levels. Yeah!
Isabel needs a quiet, restful environment; these days are critical for her recovery.
"O God beyond all praising, we worship you today and sing the love amazing that songs cannot repay; for we can only wonder at every gift you send, at blessings without number and mercies without end: we lift our hearts before you and wait upon your word, we honor and adore you, our great and mighty Lord."
