From Rick & Mary

You all have been waiting for ... this update, this was not by design.

We are on day 16 and thanking God for many blessings, all your prayers and acts of love for Isabel and the Wimmer-Brown family.

Sunday morning Isabel had increased cranial pressure, a CT scan showed bleeding in the brain. The neurosurgeon said the bleeding could have occurred anytime over the last 6 days and found it unremarkable.   The nurses were able to reduce the pressure with medication.   Since then Isabel's ICP (inner cranial pressure) has remained normal to low!  Her doctors believe she will be able to tolerate receiving a tracheotomy and feeding tube, which will help move along her recovery and are scheduled for tomorrow.  According to her nurses, Isabel's recovery is moving in the right direction!

Pray with us:
  • Give thanks for today's news.
  • Isabel will tolerate tomorrow's procedures with normal ICP.
  • Thank the Lord for being with us according to His promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
